File Polling. Enables you to predict or classify samples online at regular intervals, by using previously developed The Unscrambler® models. The Polling mechanism, in effect, utilizes information extracted by online spectroscopic instruments and performs online prediction.

What is Prediction through File Polling?

The File Polling mechanism,

• Polls or checks specified input file at regular intervals of time (seconds)

• Loads this input file if it exists, initiates the process of prediction, stores the results in output folder and moves the already predicted input file to move the folder

In brief, File Polling can be defined as a mechanism to extract information from online Spectroscopic/ Chromatographic instruments for performing prediction.




Why Prediction through File Polling?

A highly effective tool to predict online process parameters, File Polling helps perform online prediction of process parameters like content uniformity, moisture, protein etc., at regular time intervals (sec’s) from spectroscopic / chromatographic or any other instrumental data.

Auto Pretreatments supported. The software supports auto pre-treatments/ transformations used in The Unscrambler®, like Smoothing, Moving Average, S. Golay, Normalize & Derivatives- MSC, Standard Normal Variety (SNV). This ensures that the calibration models and prediction samples have the same spectral pretreatments.

Easy Configuration. The application helps users to easily configure multiple input files (limited file formats support) into the product and perform prediction/classification. As the name indicates, the software has been designed for the end-user- YOU. Hence in configuring the software, you needn’t possess any software programming skills.
